how to save mtv/movie from a dvd/vcd to my pc?

  For VCD, go to MPEG?? folder and copy all the .dat files. Rename extension from .dat to .mpg
  
  For DVD, go to VIDEO_TS folder and copy .vob files.
  Note: This does not work for all DVDs. Some DVDs require third party softwares to help you rip the videos out.

  Right-click My Computer --> Properties --> Hardware --> Device Manager
  
  Click on your computer (usually on top of the list) and Scan for new hardware

  scanned liao... enabled it, restarted om, still cannot???

  I didn't know copying and pasting stuffs can make a drive disappear. Anyway, answer the questions posted at the other thread.
