Task Manager not working

Hi everyone
It seems that after i visit a website,i cannot use my task manager,when i type cltr alt del an error msg stating "task manager has been disabled by your adminstrator"
anyone know how to enable it,thanks in advance. -

Hhahaa very nice joke,anyway i have solve the problem already,i got it from the web paste it here in case others may encounter this problem too

Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1=Enablethis key, that is DISABLE TaskManager
Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager -
I realised my task manager has a problem...
The usual File> etc commands on the top of the box has disappeared, and they do not show the name of the program file in the explorer bar too....
Furthermore using the info above, I do not even have such a key! Is there a possibility it has been deleted somehow? o_O"

From Windows 2000 onwards, there's no such thing as Ctrl Alt Del to Task Manager. It will give you options to lock the PC, log off, shut down, open task manager, etc.
To access Task Manager without pressing Ctrl Alt Del, just press Ctrl Shift and Esc simultaneously. -
I had this problem once, coz of spyware, damn pain in the arse to remove.

If it's your home PC, then errr... it's some pranksters. Some anti-spyware programs can do that also. -

It just shows the lists of tasks...that's all..no menu bars, no nothing.

I believe when you open Task Manager, it shows this:
Then you double click the grey area (don't know what colour is yours, since I'm using a Classic theme)
And tada, everything will show. -
