ok.. this is how i check it.. i'm using linkysys WRT54GL.
1. make your router DHCP enabled... so that your router assigns IP.

2. go to status>local network.DHCP client table.. and there u will see a list of people connecting to your network

3. to see if the its other's tapping, u can see it by their MAC id. each networking device has its own unique MAC id. this can be found in
start>run>cmd
then a command prompt will come out.. input: ipconfig/all.
you will see your MIC id something like "physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-16-6F-60-D8-3E". so if the router show's different mac id compared to your com, INTRUDER!!
Note: this method will not work if the intruder uses static IP adress. if they use, Their IP wont appear in DHCP table
you can enable logging... i nv try this before.. but u can see whats the outcome when u open the log.. hopefully it helps.. but must warn u first.. will lag your router by a bit
