URGENT HELP PLEASE

  hey, i used the ez cleaner (or something like that) recommended by you guys by toniarts (i think)
  
  after deleting the duplicate files, there was a Microsoft popup, saying that a programme has been corrupted or something like that
  
  i used system restore, to get back to a later date (yesterday)
  
  my computer shuts down, and now am unable to start it up.
  
  whenever i switch it on, it loads for a while, gives me the options whether to start in safemode or something, then after whichever option i select, it reboots again
  SPDT.sys can't load or something
  they ask me to press Esc to stop it loading.
  
  HELP ME PLEASE!

  Do you have a system recovery disk by your manufacturer?
  Or a windows xp recovery disk?

  hoho, never delete duplicated files. unless u sure that it doesn't affect any other system/program operation.
  
  .u might have deleted some system files. essential for boot. try repair your windows by using XP cd otherwise, reformat or recover to default setting

  np, u cant boot windows, but then u can boot from your XP disc.
  insert your XP CD, reboot your computer. den proceed to repair

  is there anyway to use my other computer to "create" an XP cd? =X
  for Home edition?
  
  cause my dad says that the computer technician took ours -.-

  1st qn: nope u cant(cos installation files are removed after installing)
  2nd question: yes u can. microsoft site u can trust the most. if anything cockup, u can call and complaint. they sure wont hang up your call since its well known company.

  accidentally deleted 6k of "duplicate" files, when i selected the original too -.-

  looks like u have to reinstall ur windows XP (not reformat)
  
  your system file is gone..so throw in your XP cd

  cause when i tried a CD my friend lent me, by just putting it in, when it loaded, a penguin as a screensaver came up =( did not give me any options though.
  
  is it a wrong CD?
