bought the smcwbr 14-gm wireless broadband router to use with my sz32...but i cant get it to work...1 ethernet frm cable modem to router(WAN)...1 ethernet frm pc to router (1)...lights all flashing correctly...
installed the software too...software is weird...after taking out and putting in the cd countless times thn can detect...any other settings i need to amend?thanks... -
I wonder if you connect correctly.
From router to modem, both are using WAN ports, not just the router only.
From PC to router, just any of the ports will do.

yep...all correct...but still cant get it to work although my laptop shows connected with excellent signal...mayb i will get the starhub guy or smth to come my place to do it up for me...thanks...

hi i also got the same problem here with my new router sianz i have call up starhub and ask them whethere they provide such service to set up router they said no so do u guys noe where there is such service thank you

first of all are u using the right cable?
frm router to pc is using rj-45 cross cable.
router to switch or router to hub is using straight cable -
The cable isn't too much of a concern now, as manufacturers will provide the straight cable (it's rare to provide the wrong cable, so far seen of none)

mine is prolink there is no install cd yup there is a blue cable inside i think tats the cable to join the modem to the router i bought another cable to join from my router to the pc there is like two small tv lights on when i switch on everything but cannot connet to to net...

there's nothing wrong with the blue cable.
is the cable that u bought 1 a straight cable?
cross cable wun work though.
if realli is rong, go change it lo. -

Can you access the router? Type in 192.168.1.1 into your browser address bar.
