hey, just wondering, is there anyway to download movies?
- besides using bittorrent of course, as i can't really get the speed to work well, and i'm not sure, cause there're many torrents. scarley i download liao, then cannot work =( -

To prevent downloading of wrong files using bit torrent, just read the comments posted by those who have already downloaded it.

Deleted. Bearshare is a dubious P2P program. For more details, check here.
It adds extra toolbar and apparently causes lots of pop ups for some users. -

If you use P2P, you have to expect slow speed. No choice.
P2P is like that.
Other method is FTP.
When you download from websites, such as the ones I recommend above, actually the protocol you are using is FTP when you open a download connection. It is much faster than P2P.
Furthermore, I didn't tell you something very important.
The 2 websites I mentioned, accept multiple simultaneous connections.
You can use download-accelerator program, such as FlashGet.
With FlashGet I achieved 100+ kbps to 300+ kbps sustained.
Quite nice.

FlashGet is quite popular, it is just an utility program to accelerate downloads. I am using it myself.
