  cos i went to task manager and looked, then saw lsass.exe using resources, then i googled it and it says its a virus

  When your PC is slow, it may not always be spyware problems.
  
  First of all, tell me what protection programs (antivirus, firewall and anti-spyware) you use?
  
  Next, when is the last time you defrag your hard disk?
  
  Thirdly, how much hard disk space is left?
  
  Fourthly, what is the specs of your PC?
  
  Fifth, which version of Windows are you using?
  
  Lastly, what programs are installed on your PC?

  Lsass is one window process.Infected Lsass should mean the presence of the Sasser worm.Yes,cause PC to shut down anytime.
  
  Cure it and in the meantime quickly go to cmd and enter shutdown -a in the window of time.Will abort shutdown.
