By the way, you are lucky you tested Vista on VMWare, otherwise, you really need to reformat... doesn't really matter since you reformatted already.

but really.. vmware allows drag and drop from host to virtual pc or vice versa. thats how i got infected from the virtaul vista.
the "crack" i'm using for my main computer isn't infected. -

The installation disc aka full package is used when you are not using XP (maybe wrong, but I know 9x cannot upgrade). You will use this installation disc, which will remove your previous systems. -

If you upgrade using that disc, note that you can't reverse back without performing a clean install. -
