  i didnt configure it just like last time and last time worked fine.
  
  i reformmatted the whole thing because it was telling me that the partition i was storing things on was inconsistent and then my c drive also start to hang very often liao, is it a prob with hardware or what

  Try following the instructions given in the manual... don't anyhow do it.
