  Actually, microsoft word and pointpoint you need to buy. Buy the Microsoft office - student & home office version, much cheaper. If don't want then use open office. If die die also want to use microsoft office, then you should know what to do.

  If you just need to read powerpoint and word documents, see here.
  
  But if you need to edit and create, get Open Office or you pay for MS Office. Open Office is the closest you can get to Microsoft.
