so how am i suppose to change the cmyk settings?Originally posted by ShrodingersCat:Its probably saved with CMYK colours.
did u check that?
However, if you are designing for print, then expect that the CMYK colours would be the type of colours seen on print, NOT RGB (even if your inkjet can print RGB tones)
IF u see that ya images are really in CMYK mode...Originally posted by OasisBlue:so how am i suppose to change the cmyk settings?
nope... I saved the picture and then went to preview it and it turned out to be of a darker shadeOriginally posted by lifeisgood9989:most prob is due to monitor calibration.. is it that u compared ur pic using different computers then u found out about the tone diff?
oops i deleted it >_<Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:Maybe u can crop that image and upload the image to a free host and we see what may be wrong with it.

Well the color i used... is the same... but it look entirely different... In adobe photoshop, it looks brighter...and i mistaken it for brown... When i saved it and preview it...it is actually quite grayish![]()
Its jpgOriginally posted by BÃ¥seline:NP.
Is the image as GIF or Jpeg? The former carries lesser range of colours than Jpegs resulting in dull colours if the colours used are not withing the range.

I just realized mine was set to this tooOriginally posted by BÃ¥seline:Ok, Go Menu and select "View" > Proof Setup
Is yours in Windows RGB? Mine is Working CMYK cos I do print work most of the time.

Can you show us your screen shot error please?Originally posted by OasisBlue:hmm i changed the advanced setting to rgb... but the prob is... i cant save it as jpg anymore![]()
