Sort of true. It actually uses a folder icon to mislead people into thinking that it's not a virus. But the folder has weird names, like my pictures.exe, my music.exe instead of just My Pictures or My Music.Originally posted by FBI:hmm it's hard to delete this i know..

now i have windows live and got it qurantine.. so i jus manually delete it
The virus will restart the PC if you try to start anything to stop it. It's very hard to stop. -

when i tried product recovery, the damm virus still down there!?
haha only when i used windows live 1 care and got it fixed -

If by luck command prompt can run, I can still delete it. Or I'm going to try one of Symantec's files to restore the registry, then edit the registry to at least restore back some functionality of the PC and delete the files. -

If you mean system restore, then the date you restored back was infected as well. Anyway, it's quite common for viruses to infect the system restore as well, so trying that will be useless. -

Well, why not? In Windows, there exists 2 command prompts. One is for Win 9x, one is for NT and above. I could try the command prompt for Win9x, and if luck is with me, I can do whatever I want.Originally posted by FBI:cmd is not gonna run..

well i mean when i got that virus, when i open cmd promt and tried to type something.. it jus restarts..
i tried all ways and means to get rid of that sh!t man

Rather, I think there might be a payload, meaning it might execute itself on Valentines Day and wreck havoc for PCs. -
