Norton is famous for removing things that it shouldn't remove.Originally posted by deathscythe99:Hmm what did you mean?
Oh on top of that...before I removed my NA I couldnt really get the PC to start up till once...then I quickly checked the hardware for failures and used Registry Mechanic to check all the registry entries - and there were a lot of problems -_-". Winamp did not work also due to some soundout error, but I managed to fix it by reinstalling the sound codec.
Sighs.
Now using laptop but I need some of the programs on Windows, which cant be found on the Mac -_-"
The problem now is I couldnt even see anything on the screen after the power switch of the cpu is pressed.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Norton is famous for removing things that it shouldn't remove.
It probably remove some of your graphics card drivers...
As for your previous computer problems, it is hard to tell. Windows always have lots of registry entries left behind, from old programs or your recently opened programs. One of those old program registry keys might be a culprit to your computer problems.
You have to try reinstalling Windows and see if it is a software problem or hardware problems.
Are the cables connected properly?Originally posted by deathscythe99:The problem now is I couldnt even see anything on the screen after the power switch of the cpu is pressed.
Meaning, the CPU runs, but the screen is blank and the light from the "power" button is flickering.
So...no output??
