Hi all computer experts!
A friend of mine has a problem with her notebook. The past couple of days, while booting her notebk, it keep showing something like "fan error..."; then she has to press f1 to continue to start-up, if never press, the notebk will shut down itself.
She also notices that her notebook is becoming rather hot as compared to last time. Has the fan stopped working? How can we find that out and rectify the problem?

Yup yup will do that eventually; but just thinking if anyone here is able to offer and advise on how to rectify the problem or perhaps says it perfectly normal, that'll be great!

i think the fan got cover ba...70% sure...
u bring the the service centre at level 5 funan...they will help u out... -

She got it from NTU in 2005. Shall look for the warranty then. Thks R3SsH|n! -

i not sure how NTU works..but definately got warrenty..especially if buy from school...though not sure is 3 party warrenty or send to the help centre in NTU.
your friend will have to ask the school association in charge of the selling of notebooks in sch... -
Buy from school by right will give you 3 years warranty.
If she's still studying there, ask NTU. If she's not, have to bring to Fujitsu Service Centre. Bring the warranty card as well. -
