Networking - File sharing problem

  Solved. Want to share files/folders over a network, all drives must be using NTFS.

  eh, not true, i can share with my main computer.. my main com is using NTFS while i'm using FAT32.
  
  can recieve files vice versa via shared folder.

  eh tell u the truth la.. until now i dont know a way to share files/folder specifically to a computer(ignoring other computer in the network). maybe cos winXP home doesn't support? if it doesn't, i cant help cos in my life i nv go indepth with Xp pro.
  
  if your network is password protected... den it wont be the case
  
  however, it will be uneasy for you if you use your lappy outside while in a school/workplace network which people has the same groupwork as yours.

  XP Home will run into problems, because Simple File Sharing CANNOT be turned off. Maybe can, I've got to figure it out somehow.
  
  Only in Pro that you can turn it off.

  Somehow, I never got pass that stage in XP Home. How come your one so different de?
