Domain Issues

I am not that web savvy...
So .. anyway.. I registered to www.hostdepartment.com NO LIMIT WEBSITE package.
They put there host unlimited website!
Meaning, now, i can have as many websites i want is it? And they can go online?
Or just having a website... but not online it?
In my control panel page, they put there.... under domains... USED 1 FREE 10 MAX 10..
any ideas?
the question is... i can have more than one website is it?

ya if u have more den 1 domain u can create seperate websites on this account. i think. as far as ur webspace can hold.

you can buy the web domain( meaning the website name eg. www.singapore.com) but then u need some webspace to be host to the domain so that people can download stuffs using the domain(address).
when u ping a domain, it usually pings to the server where email, php, space or anything there.
if u change the hosting provider, the Ip will change given the same domain -

u registered 2 domains. www.domain1.com and www.domain2.com.
u have 100mb webspace.
den u create 1 extra folder in your account.
den u can host those 2 domains on that account.
u can point www.domain1.com to the root folder.
den u can also point www.domain2.com to another folder.
so u have 2 websites independently from one another.
but muz take note, the second domain, is not free. they simply host it for you. -

when u register a domain hor. u are actually paying registration + domain hosting. usually the latter is free.
this host juz make it easy for u to have multiple websites under one account. so u can individually control each website independently.
nothing much to it. not a bargain either. -
