We are pleased to announce that PayPal, Inc. recently opened a new company in Singapore, PayPal Private Limited.
On March 15, 2007, PayPal Private Limited will become the service provider for PayPal customers residing in Singapore. This development will help us improve services for our customers in Singapore.
Please note that no action is required on your part and you will be able to continue using your PayPal account with no changes.
Your customer relationship with PayPal, Inc.
Until March 15, 2007, your customer relationship will continue to be with PayPal, Inc. (a U.S. company) under the PayPal, Inc. User Agreement, which is governed by California law.
After March 15, 2007, your customer relationship with PayPal will be automatically transferred to PayPal Private Limited. This transfer will not affect the way you use your PayPal account.
Your customer relationship with PayPal Private Limited
As we transition to PayPal Private Limited, we will update the User Agreement and its incorporated policies and the Privacy Policy. The User Agreement and Privacy Policy will be modified to remove U.S.-specific content and comply with Singaporean law.
After the transition to PayPal Private Limited, you will be able to use PayPal in the same way you do today. However, if you do not wish to transfer your relationship to PayPal Private Limited, you may close your account at any time, either before or after March 15, 2007, by logging into your account and clicking Profile.
