Problems installing new PCI adapter (Dlink)

  I have bought a new PC Adapter (Dlink DFE-528TX), but i have problem with the installation, requesting assistance.
  
  My window platform is Window 2000 and when I install the drivers or enable my networking card, it will always prompt me a dead blue screen as shown below.
  
  

  "STOP: c0000263 {Driver Entry Point Not Found}
  The systemroot\system32\drivers\Dlktl.sys device driver could not locate the entry point InterlockedPopEntrySList in driver ntoskrnl.exe??????????"
  If this is the first time you see this Stop error screen restar your computer. If this is a new installation check for 2000 updates.
  
  If problems continue disable or remove any newly installed hardware or softwqare."

  then it says to use safe mode and look in the manual. which I of course don't have.
  
  Any solutions pls?

  are you sure the new PC adapter doesnt come with a manual? the box should contain the manual.
  
  why not boot up using safe mode(plug out and plug in pci first)
  
  or insert the pci before booting up

  I tried that before, it is not effective.

  10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter.
  
  I have thought of trying other PCI slot, but my mind tells me that it's more like a driver conflict error or incorrect system configurations.

  I have kill off my Death blue screen by updating to the lastest SP4. However, i have encountered errors as shown below.

  Try copying Dlktl.sys (from the CD) to systemroot\system32\drivers
  
  systemroot is C:\Windows
  
  Replace C:\ with the drive where Windows is installed.

  It says cannot find the file. So I got you to copy and paste.
