Heys I've seen the AVG website and there are many other 'add-ons' for the AVG free antivirus.
In any case am I able to dl, use them and maybe I'm able to continually use it (somehow??) -

i think you get everything for 30 days, then after that only left the top. thats wat i think so la. i dont like their anti-spyware aniway. -
Although AVG Anti-Spyware say it will deactivate most components, there are only two things that they deactivate. One is real-time monitor and updates, and the other one is the resident shield.
The other things still work though. -

GRISOFT is announcing a new version of the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. This new 7.5 version with improved performance and full compatibility with the latest Windows Vista version is available. Users that are using AVG Free 7.1 will be provided with a specific dialog, within the next few weeks, with the opportunity to choose the right option fulfilling their needs. AVG Free 7.1 version will be discontinued on 18th of Feb 2007.

A new recommended update for AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 for Windows (build 441) has been released. It will be available for download as a installation package or update package. Moreover, AVG installations will automatically download this recommended update within the next 2-3 days (this is because of load balancing). -

Right click AVG icon on the system tray and select Launch AVG Control Center
Select Scheduler. On the bottom right, click Scheduled Tasks
Select Test plan in basic mode
Click on Edit at the bottom
Under Scheduled Time, untick Periodically start scheduled antivirus task box.
Click OK, Close to apply the settings -
So anyone using the Pro version?

Go C:\Windows\Tasks folder
See if the scanning is there...
Copy and paste the filepath... you won't find this task folder anywhere...
