  Anyone have any thoughts on the war between AMD(Athlon 64 and 64 x2) and Intel(core duo and core 2 duo)...

  Regardless of processor consumer use. Windows Vista at present state is screwed.

  Good for us consumers.
  
  But if you are buying Vista, then good luck to you. No matter how good your processor is, Vista is going to slow down your system.
