anyone noes who got install multiple OS on their laptop or com? need a bit of advice on this =)

hmmm, i think u will need to partition ur harddisk( C: & D: ), then install the OS on C and D, if ur successful, u will be prompt to choose which OS u want to use whenever u reboot ur com

only problems i had were hardware compatibility when i tried to dual boot xp and linux.

u can have BOTH 95 and XP on your PC
but must be 2 diffrent partition -

it works for me when i install vista and XP Home together and later XP Home and XP Pro, not so sure about other version of OS -

google has many tutorials on how to dual boot a pc.

Anyway, it's quite easy... you will only have driver problems with Linux...
To dual boot two Windows OS, you have to install the older one first.
Let's say you want to dual boot Windows 98 and XP.
First, overwrite everything (which is reformat)
Create a few partition. Install Windows 98 in the first partition.
Once done, put in XP CD. Follow the prompts. When you reach a stage about choosing how to install, don't select upgrade. Select New Installation. Choose the partition you want XP to be installed on and just follow instructions.

For Windows ME, 98 and 95, it's impossible, because they use the same boot file, and the same file system (FAT32). It's very hard to hide the different operating systems, so either it crashes or you get funny errors.

In my office, my comp has 2 hdd and 2 OS, win2000 on the primary, and winxp on the slave. I installed win2000 before winxp. During the bootup, there would be a selection screen for you to select between which one you want to boot up to. If you know how to set it properly, you can bring the delay down to 0 and it'll always choose the default to boot up to according to what you set, but you can override it by pressing the arrow down key during boot up and take ur time to decide again which one to boot up with.
