as above, just wanna ask u guys whether its worth it.

maybe if anyone interested to buy we can buy together for more discounts lol -

really that jia lat meh? is it suitable for poly use? its for light gaming and work la. heavy gaming i use my pentium 3 pc.

oh ya forgot to mention its L2 4mb cache. from above posts i know that disadvantage is its hot and graphics are lousy since its shared with the ram..

For school work and applications that uses the L2 cache intensively, getting a core with more cache is wise. I heard applications that involves intense calculations loves a proccessor with a generaous L2 cache.
Please also check the lightscribe DVD-writer if it can produce DVD-media design in color or just plain grayscale.
This notebook should not be a light one since it weighs about 2.4kg. -

Lightscribe discs varies depends on the brand. You go check yourself i too lazy to. But i doubt its any useful except for decorative purpose. If you do get color discs, please let me know the quality
One thing useful about lightscribe is you can mark your dics with titles and information of the data written on them. More reliable than ink.
As for weight, if its fine with you its fine with me -

dont think its that worth it. 5400rpm for a HDD is lower end. i got my compaq presario v2000 for $1799 last year.

if i were you, i would wait for the Suntec IT fair in may/june to get a new lappie. they have darn good deals there. just my 2cents worth =] -

my uncle is director of HP computer in s'pore. i can get you a reasonable price. but minimum purchase is 5 sets. find friends that want to buy, i try help you out as possible. thanks -
if u play games, den intel media accelerator 950 is not enough by the way, 950 is with 224 MB shared memory, nt 128...
acer would be gd, but if u go for look, sony notebooks would be gd. if u go for duarability, den IBM will be better...
DUN install vista hor, since i dun think many of the applications dat poly use will be vista capable.... -
everything is nice, but use XP and upgrade the graphic card to X2 of its original capacity.
and then it's perfect.

This is a very good deal. i have 2 friends who bought this at a higher price both brand new. And i tell u the altec lansing speakers rock seriously.
