Clearing a thumbdrive?

hmm, when i try to delete my files from my thumbdrive, it says its unable to read from source file / disk.

and maybe ur thumbdrive has been locked. check again. -

What weird file names?
If it's temporary files (usually something like bla bla bla.tmp), they will be gone once you close the file or program.
If not, just delete them.
If it's a thumbs.db file, please don't delete that. It's part of your thumbdrive. -

whoops.. i always get thumbs.db fle on jpg files... always ignore them when i transfer them

I guess you got to reformat the thumbdrive.
Right click on the thumbdrive and select Format. -
