Hi guys/sis..
I need recommendation for a personal home printer as my current printer just "xpired" Nothing fanciful nor xpensive
Some spec that im looking at are:
-low ink consumtion
-new refiller/catridge should be cheap.(both ink/black n white)
-just for normal usage of printing documents/reports/images
-not looking at those lagging printer that took donkey years to print a single document.
-budget should be +/- 100

maybe you should specify how many pages per minute. i don't think there are anymore of those you described.

i bought my all in one canon mp160 for about 120~130...
quite good la..maybe u can look for it...
but then i bought it during courts tampines new opening...so i figure there was a discount...

Low in consumption - without ink leakages, the consumption is pretty low. Excluding the printing of pictures, whereby the consumption is high.
New refiller/cartridge - generally, not all printer brands offer refillers. One reason for doing so is because of profits, as refillers are cheaper than buying a new cartridge.
Different companies, different policies. For me, I'm using HP. They allow you to trade in your old cartridges for a new one at a cheaper price, usually bought from a wholesaler or distributor.
Slow printer - I see your definition of personal printer is quite high. Most personal printers don't print fast, but at a good enough rate not to be slow. If you are looking for something faster than this, you have to get a lazer printer.
Budget - What exactly is your budget? Different people have different definitions of cheap. Who knows your definition of low is $1000? +/- $100 = $900/$1100. Good enough for a lazer printer. -

Really..Seriously i dont know everyone in this world, so i cant conclude "anyone" have the same criteria for a printer as me. Different folks different strokes.

if u dun need the scan or copy function then just get an inkjet........
canon pixma iP1700
22ppm for black text
17ppm for color
including borderless printing
RRP is $99
u can get it slightly cheaper from the frenly ah bengs in SLS -

There are 2-3 Skylet outlets, but may i suggest to u go to Sim Lim Square, so that there are more to choose from. -
skylet they sell things exp ahhh... but servce very good. their price are ment to slash one.... ^^
