TOSHIBA SATELLITE L100-P443

went to funan IT mall today to lok for laptops.. realised that a lot of laptops already have window vista inside.. however, i heard that window vista cun install pirated softwares so finally the SA recommend me this toshiba satellite L100-P443 which operating system is window xp home edition. the gd thing is this laptop is within my budget. however, i not sure whether this model is good or not. Anyone have this model before?

looks decent in the specs, maybe upgrade the ram a little more to 512mb at least.

yar, i heard vista does prevent softwares which are supposedly illegimate *cough* *cough*.. but i dun mind about that, i'm more worried that some programs will not operate under vista well now, just like when XP was first released, i'd rather wait at least 6months or so before they start rolling out really compatible softwares and drivers.. until then XP pro is still gd enuff for me

I tot Vista can install pirated softwares? Its only that you cannot install Microsoft pirated products on Vista.

yea precisely.. it cun install pirated microsoft office.. have to use genuine one.

yea.. include free upgrade to 512 ram.. it so tough to get a notebook without win vista now.. is it possible that if the notebook comes with win vista, can we like uninstall it and load it up with win xp? cos i have the software for win xp.
