Check liao. Bo scratches. Only this disc shows 'empty' but I did store many mp3 songs in it.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Only this disc can't play?
If yes, are there any scratches? If yes, you are probably out of luck. Might have to try and clone the CD. Refer to the sticky on burning CDs. The last post will show you how.
If there are no scratches, try cleaning it. Use a soft cloth, not those table cloth. Wipe in circular fashion...

Burned as data disc or a music disc?Originally posted by Manager433:Check liao. Bo scratches. Only this disc shows 'empty' but I did store many mp3 songs in it.
That time I burn. And can even play in my pc media player too. But this time cannot wor.Originally posted by manyu882:ok, when u store your mp3, do u just drag and drop or u burn?
if its drag and drop, the disk is formatted with UDF file system. your disc drive or windows can't read them
once again,
1.what i know is that MS XP home doesn't detect UDF disk.. its not supported.
2.Or.. the disc drive u are using doesn't support UDF..
3. UDF have many version.. so maybe the version u are reading doesn't match the one on disc drive.
Music disc ( mp3 ). Looks like really gone. Cannot even recover. Wah lao, all my collections of music mp3 leh.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Burned as data disc or a music disc?
For data disc, I've come across a lot of problems. Usually what you can do is to bring it to another computer and let another CD drive to try and read it. Recover the files a few each day. This method can recover around 50% of your songs.
If burned as music disc... I don't know what's the chances...
Also, answer manyu's questions...
Can try the method for data disc, perhaps it works.Originally posted by Manager433:Music disc ( mp3 ). Looks like really gone. Cannot even recover. Wah lao, all my collections of music mp3 leh.
