Re: How To Copy Favourites

  I have two "plaforms" or "systems" on my lappie, or whatever you call it. My school's IT guys made it this way.
  
  1 is my school system.
  1 is my ibm system.
  
  So i had all my favourites in my ibm system.
  
  Today the IT boss saw that I go into my school's system only when I need to print stuff. And then will go out again to my ibm system, because I told him I have all my favourites in my ibm system.
  
  So he go and import all my favourites into my school system (instead of coyping them!!!!)
  
  So now my ibm system has no "favourites" anymore, all my bookmarks are gone!!!!!!!!!!
  
  But I don't want to use the school "system" when i am home.
  
  Can someone help me to copy the favourites back into my ibm system???

  What OS are both systems using?
  
  Windows?
  
  Also, the favourites are IE favourites or Firefox favourites?

  copy the favourite folder in the document and setting folder in your school system into the C drive then switch to your ibm system n paste the favourite from yr c drive into the document and setting folder in your ibm system .
  this is assuming that for both systems, u still use the same c drive

  another 'problem':
  
  when i am in my ibm system (ie. if i log into my ibm), i can access 'my picture' which are all the pictures i have saved
  
  when i am in my school's system (ie. if i log into my shool login), i cannot access 'my picture'
  
  how can i access 'my picture' if i am in my school's 'system'?

  Do you have administrator access?
  
  If not, you can't access.

  Even though its in ur hdd, ur locked out cos using different system

  Because it's a different system. You own the hard disk, but you don't own the system.
