What Kind Of Ram Should I Use? HELP!

  Im so tired running up and down to comp store....
  
  This time... i need to know what ram type my comp has...
  
  SDRAM or DDR..... how to check huh??
  
  Oh the side of my comp... got sticker...
  
  256MB
  400MHZ DDR SDRAM memory......
  
  so how?

  should be DDR. mine also says something like that, just that it's 1gb. i'm using DDR. change to DDR2 also can lo, newer lol...

  another type of RAM is DDRAM
  
  there are 2 generation of rams
  
  ddr and ddr2
  
  so, currently the one u are using is
  
  256mb DDR(first generation rams) SDRAM(type of memory module)

  Tell the shop keeper you want a 400MHz DDR RAM.

  Go http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/index.asp to scan ur com..
  The result will show how many slot and how much ur system can take the memory up to.

  aiya buy a new com la
