2 harddrives in my lappy

  As i know until now, I found out that I am only using the space of one harddrive out of 2. They are C and D drive respectively and I only using the C. D is usually empty.
  
  What can i do? Why does my lappy even comes with 2 separate drives for storage? use?

  D for disk. CD.

  The hard disk is most probably partitioned.
  
  Use them whatever you want.
