Cant start up

I brought a Casing yest

so thinking of transfering my old system

to this new casing

After installing everything

It dun seem to start up at all

when i on ..i can just see the fan spinning

one min then the whole thing stop

I am using AMD xp 1600

the new casing power box is 300 w

anyone can help tks

check for short-circuit.

loosen the screws holding the mobo to the casing and see if it helps.

if not take out all the PCI cards and try booting.

300W for a AMD XP 3000, it will be miracle if anything starts.

Get a higher wattage PSU.

not just higher wattage

Those cheapo brand/no brand that advertise a certain high wattage are not real.

Eg Icute.

ermm there is a difference btw stated wattage and real wattage you know?

those cheapo brands most likely are stating max wattage (not stable consistent wattage) than those reliable better branded ones but way more expensive ones.

Maybe you would like to state the brand of the power supply that you have brought?

If you suspect is the power supply, just swap in your old power supply and see can start up or not.
