Funny computer problem.. One in a kind i swear!! Help!!!

  If your hard disk makes some ticking sound, or you put it to your ear and you hear that your harddisk is trying to spin but then slowed down back, confirm harddisk is spoilt

  Sometimes the PC is very noisy but it doesnt really give the spinning sound. I know what it sounds like cause my friend's external HD makes that sound..
  
  Could it be the motherboard problem? How much is a new
  mother board?

  depends on what socket you're using. If youre using socket 478, i think can get around 100/+. Second hand ones is cheaper.
  Obviously the higher the price of the motherboard, the better it is. Don't really think it's motherboard problem. If mobo spoilt, pc won't even start up
