Tiberium Wars doesn't work...

  K just got my laptop and bought tiberium wars original. I am running windows vista premium. The first time I installed it it managed to work...subsequent times cannot already. Everytime I try to start it just gets stuck at the C&C3 picture. I reinstalled already, still cannot work.
  
  Aye problematic sia. Don't tell me oh windows vista therefore sure cannot work.

  do the following:
  
  1.disable UAC.
  
  if cnc3 doesn't run in vista platforms, try running as compatibility mode with XP SP2

  UAC is User Account Control. Microsoft Article
  
  To disable them, there are quite a few ways.

  Those familiar with XP should know how to use Vista, because it works very similarly to XP. The only difference is the security. Antivirus, firewall, antispyware, UAC, etc are added, which makes things a bit harder.

  okay guys I've tried everything and it still doesn't work. arghh. My graphics card is Ge Force Go 7700 btw

  1st time can play rite?
  then seq time cant?
  
  does Vista have system restore? u can try to restore to that time?
  
  or u got change any fonts/ setting?

  Try installing the 1.02 patch that is just released for Tiberium Wars.

  well if i remember correctly it worked right before i did a windows update. Is there way to save all my work and stuff i downloaded for the time in between?

  hey guys thanks for all the past replies. Anyway my Tiberium Wars is working fine now, so thought I just post the solution up for those who encounter the same problem.
  
  Just downloadt he no-cd crack. Apparently Vista screws it up with some copyright shit or something.

  yea..not forgetting that vista eats more ram then xp..
