Using WMP to display subtitles

  can anyone tell me how can i do that? i just went to "on" subtitles, but could not choose / select the file.

  Place the subtitle file in the same place as your movie file. Will be good if the subtitle file is of the same name as the video file.
  
  Then download The ffdshow codecs

  hmm, when i download the ffdshow codecs, it's only for the codecs right ?
  
  i've codecs and the subtitle file already, just don't really know how to activate it.
  
  so the video and subtitles in one folder? and WMP will automatically locate it?

  maybe you need to update your codec
  
  have you tried, k-lite codec?
