  Look at the number of shops there. All selling the same thing. They have to squeeze unsuspecting customers tightly in order to get enough to cover their rent, and the salary of the hungry helpers hanging around the shop. Those vultures scrutinise you when you go near and in their minds, they are only thinking of how to make the money go from your pocket to theirs. Products and services are alien to them.
  
  My maximum spending in SLQ or SLT is not more than $50. If they want to cheat, let them have it...sub sub shui.
  
  If you buy big and want better protection, shop at reputable places like COURTS, BEST, CARREFOUR etc....or even Funan Centre is better.

  because i am pro. if u noe how and where to buy, u can save alot of money.

  normally all the shops sell the same price for each item. its no point looking for cheaper ones as the most u'll get $1 or $2 cheaper.
  always make sure u do some homework of the things u gonna buy, esp u are nuts over it, then the seller will know he cant eat u.
  no need to be too friendly with owners there. its like a fast food chain there, menus are displayed outside, so go in and request for the stuffs u want, then get out from thr!

  the shops at storey 1 is all trying to chop people one. dont buy anything from the 1st storey. and dont buy stuff from the shops near the escalators. mostly price is more ex then the shops further inwards.
