Is above a good buy ? or are there alternative brands pc desktop that gives better value for the above price. Appreciate advice
ok lah...the thing is that its a passe Pentium D, but you must know that Pentium D speed is faster than Core Duo's so its single processor speed is faster. 160gb storage is good, esp at 7200rpm. See if they can upgrade XP Home to XP Pro for free, then its good.
Ask for free upgrade to 1Gb ram at least, else 512 is obsolete. My laptop is 1gb ram since 2003!

That's the most i can go cuz of motherboard limitation.
