Urgent help needed!!!

  i can't switch on my com
  
  i switch on cpu, switch on monitor and for some reason my monitor can't detect my cpu. I'm sure it's not the wire loose or wad ever.
  
  thinking tt my monitor spoil, i switch my cpu over to my sis's monitor, cannot work oso
  
  then i bring my sis cpu over to my monitor, can switch on wor.
  
  is my cpu confirm gone case? any1 here can help? it's pretty urgent, my cpu inside got 2 projects need to hand in next week, and one need to hand in tmr one.
  
  sorry if i sound incoherent, but i'm very desperate now. Please..some1 who is IT savvy. please help! many thanks in advance

  Got one real dumb question for you.
  
  Did you on the power for the CPU?
  
  Also check the switch behind the PSU. Usually it's own, somebody might have off it.

  is the wire that connects to button tht u press to on ur com disconnected? lose?

  Aiyo, getting out of track leh. He mentioned monitor cannot detect CPU only, not cannot start CPU. Chg ur sis graphic to ur. c if it work.
  Ur graphic driver cld hv been corrupted.

  harlows every1. my com working properly liao. turned out tt the graphic card spoil. lol. went to change it. cost me $155 tho.

  phew thank god this thread haven close yet.
  
  anyway, the same problem occurred again.
  
  This time i tried changing the graphic card like last time, but the monitor still can't detect the CPU. I keep getting the "no signal" msg. I switched the monitor with my sister's and it still didn't work.
  
  I tried asking a fren for help, he told me to remove the CMOS battery n put it back, now lagi worse, there is no power to my keyboard, and my monitor still can't work.
  
  Anyone can help?

  Your friend suggested that you take out the CMOS battery, did you put it back?

  What's your power supply wattage?
  
  There's a sticker on the PSU itself, and you might need to unscrew and take out the PSU before you can see the sticker.

  erm i dun think the fault lies wif the power, coz it could work perfectly fine previously.

  300W is the power supplied... it looks on the low side to me, especially if your PC is rather new...
  
  What's the specs of your PC?
  
  Namely:
  
  1) Processor (like Intel Pentium 4 2.5GHz)
  2) Amount of RAM installed (like 256MB)
  3) Graphics card
  4) Sound card
  5) Hard disk

  oh i forgot. previously when i had tt problem i changed graphic card. so currently im using ASUS Extreme AX550 256mb DDR memory
