what's wrong with my IE?

K I seem to have to always refresh my pages non-stop cause either they page gets all screwed up or doesn't even appear at all. Am on Vista and Max Online. Why like that ah???

Many causes.
Problem 1:
Could it be that your computer is low on memory? Hence, it might take some time to load your browser. Meanwhile, you are stuck with seeing warped text until it finished loading..
Solution 1:
Try increasing your virtual memory, if you have tons of unused memory in your hard disk(s).
Problem 2:
Could it be that your browser encoding is wrong or non-existent? If you are trying to view a Chinese website, then you might need Chinese Simplified (GB2312) instead of Western European (ISO).
Solution 2:
In your browser, go to View, Encoding and tick the Auto-Select. You might want to open up [More] to see if you have the language available. -
IE7.
To say frankly, IE7 doesn't conform to Web standards.
If the page doesn't turn up blank, view the source.
Under , see if you can locate these codes:
<br /><br />Also check that right at the top, there is this part:<br /><br /><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"><br /><br />If you see these 2 parts of the codes, it's IE7 doing.<br /><br />If none of those applies, check that you've installed the language packs. -
Vista and MOL don't go together, period.

Right click My Computer, select Properties.
Under System Properties, click Advance tab.
Under Performance, click Settings.
Under Performance Options, click Advance tab.
Under Virtual Memory, click Change.
Select Custom Size.
Take note of the Recommended value.
Specify the rounded values as a start.
Keep increasing until you are comfortable with your speed.
Rule of thumb, don't exceed more than 10& of the total disk space.
