USB ports died

  Few days ago my old power supply unit went up in sparks and tripped power to the whole house.
  
  So I got new PSU and fixed it in my CPU. But then I found all my USB ports are not functioning. All other ports are working fine. What happened?
  
  Any help greatly appreciated.

  Just found out the sound output had died too. Sigh....
  
  Think i connected everything already.

  i think some chips burnt inside..... could be due to the sudden abnormal wattage clocked into the buses by the psu.

  If it tripped your house's power supply, it most likely damaged the motherboard...
