Right click on iexplore.exe, select Send To Desktop (create shortcut)
On your desktop, right click on the iexplore.exe shortcut and select Properties.
Select Shortcut tab.
In Shortcut key field, press down Alt key. Then press any letter or number that you like. Click Apply to apply the settings. Take note of the shortcut.
Every time you want to Start IE, just press the combination.
Mine is Ctrl + Alt + E.
