Firefox problem

  when I bring up firefox no web page is displayed, just the toolbar/address bar. my add-ons aren't shown either. i can click tools>>add-ons and it shows i still have them but they're not displayed...same with bookmarks, the address appears in the address box but no web page is displayed.
  
  anyone have an idea what the problem might be?
