Best time to buy a new rig?

consider these factors
new intel chip pricing in another <2 weeks.
ati radeon pushing down price.(forget the exact date liao anyone knows?)
ram dropping price each week but then donoe will drop until donoe what stable point(pls advise?)
flash base hard disk tech comes in which will push the price of current hdds(date?)
7% gst at july
pc show coming at last day of may ... last fo 4 days.

Honestly speaking, there is never a best time to buy a com.Because after this price cut, there will surely be another price cut, are you going to wait forever and ever for them to keep on cutting price.Let say you decided to wait, by the time the price drops to what you want, it might be considered obsolete.So you would be looking at the newer products, waiting for their price to drop.The cycle repeats again.Like that, you are never going to get your computer.Just formulate what you want and grab your things and have a peace of mind.Tech products also have a very steep depreciation curve, your latest rig may be only worth half 1 year down the road, so saving that tens of dollars isn't going to help much either.Like what i say, just buy if you have the need.If you ask me, i would say prices have pretty much hit rock bottom and level out after this round of price cut , so yea just whack!

ai yah ...can buy com anytime 1 ...some price wil ldrop in time to come 1. ..no such thing as gd time to buy or wa.t..only thing for gd timings is the fluctuation for ram price.....sometiems real high the price for ram...juz take note of ur initial setup....
