Juz reinstall WinXp ProfESSIONAL GOT this error when i boot up the comp

Take it down to the service center to determine whether that's really the case.
And also, take the opportunity to upgrade your RAM while you're at it - in this day and age, 1GB of RAM is the minimum that you need. -

Since it's newly formatted and installed, there could be conflicts between Windows and your hardware. Some hardware requires specific drivers from the manufacturer, but not from Microsoft.
You can try installing all your third-party hardware drivers first, then install Windows patches and see if it conflicts. -
Erm I do not have any hardware like printers etc on that particular computer .
Except my : Keyboard , Old IBM keyboard -
Hardware as in cards.
Graphics card, sound card, whatever card you are using. Those are usually the cause of problems because Windows drivers don't suit them.
Old IBM keyboard - a reminder. IBM itself also produces computers, and the hardware that comes with it might be using propriety drivers of which Microsoft has no access to. Try using a common keyboard (brandless, with brand, don't care, just as long as it's not IBM).
Don't use an IBM mouse as well, it probably has the same effects. -

Go to their websites and find the latest drivers and install, then install the Windows updates.
