hi all,
i am planning to buy a harddisk to backup my files but i very noob about the different types of harddisks available can someone explain to me the differences and give mi some recommendation on which brand to buy and where i can get it?
if possible can u also tell mi which are the more "honest" shops in sim lim square?
btw my budget around 100+ onli hoping to get a 100Gb one

2.5'' or 3.5''?
2.5'' for notebook
3.5'' for desktop
Sata or IDE
5400 or 7200 rpm

btw was planning to buy an external on for my desktop -
hmm...
maybe u can get the 3.5'' ones cos is for ur desktop.
with sata connection of cos. brand wise is up to u le. personnally i feel samsung is not bad. but for u might be different.
heheeh...
but 100gb enuff for u mah? lol...
