I have been trying to configure here and there,but without success. In the microsoft word, i cant use my mouse to click into a middle of a paragraph or word to edit it. I need to manually use the arrow keys and go to the wrong word. Is there anyway to change this setting?

Triggered a mouse lock?
Start > Control Panel > Accessibility Options
Select the Mouse tab
Make sure the Use Mousekeys box is not ticked.
Also, sometimes the cursor is not obvious.
Just click and try typing... the cursor should show again. -
the box isnt tick. Issit its the settings in microsoft words itself? Cause the problem only surface in that programme.

Yup... all Office products have this problem. Sometimes the cursor just doesn't show up. Just click and edit as per usual.
Either that, Microsoft Office is lagging, causing the cursor to disappear. -
but i cant even click and edit. and tts what bothering me. Can i change this setting? and i can only move around using the arrow keys and it takes up quite a lot of time when i need to go to some other pages.

Don't know if you have the same problem, but I've managed to re-enact it.
Make sure this particular arrow is not selected. See picture below, boxed up in red.

My god...my one don have leh...the only part where there is a mouse pic is at the top right hand corner. And that is use for editing where once u click on it, u will have 3 options like select all, select objects and select text with similar formatting.

Anyway, which version of Office are you using? I tested it on Office XP...
That's the Drawing toolbar by the way. -
mine is microsoft office word 2007...using on window vista, the mouse runs perfectly well on the other programmes like power point and excel. dono if these information are of any help to you or not.

Eeks... I don't have MS Office 2007. Helpful, but I can't help without a copy to test.
