I am transferring my mp3s in the player to my thumbdrive.
It keeps prompting that the song is write-protected. Out of 80+ songs, only 5-6 can transfer to the thumbdrive only.
How to 'undo' this write-protected thing?
i click on properties. I try to make the folder 'shared' also cannot
Your thumbdrive - is there a lock feature? If yes, make sure the lock is not turned on.
Then right click on each of the MP3 files and select Properties.
Make sure that the Read-only box is not ticked.
Forget one thing. Close all media players before transferring the files.
still cannot. Even if i save it to C: drive or desktop also prompt write-protected
is it becoz my mp3 not suitable for vista?
i noe it's a stupid qns..hahahaha
now i doing backup and save whatever thing to my computer.
After that i see whether i can copy and paste to my thumbdrive

Which version are you using? I remember one of the versions had some lock thingy... think it's Business or Ultimate or both of them.

i zip the whole folder in the mp3
and copy over
