DVD Drive ?

Hi all !
Bought a Fujitsu A6020 a few mths back. I just did a major system recovery and it seems like my DVD drive can't detect any DVD or CD till i restart my whole computer. The first time I encounted this was when d drive 's driver was corrupted and hence whenever I go to "my computer" I cannot see my DVD drive until I do another system recovery ,which was yesterday, it still can't detect the DVD though the Icon , drive, was still there "in my computer".
So whats the problem ? My computer or the drive gotta die ?
OS : Win Vista Home PRE
A6020
2GB RAM

Since the drivers have been corrupted before, can you tell which drivers are corrupted?
If yes, try to copy the files out from the Vista CD into the Vista drivers folder. I think the location is the same as XP (C:\Windows\system32\drivers)
If not, the DVD drive could be faulty... -

The driver that are corrupted ar ?
Erm it is the DVD/CD drive that is corrupted before till I do a full system recovery. -
I mean that there's 2 possibilities. Either the drivers itself or just the DVD drive itself got problems.
If it's the latter, bring it to Fujitsu service centre will be better.
