i have 2 hard drives installed so that 1 C and 1 D but my d drive didnt appear. solutions?
You assigned 1 master and 1 slave???
maybe you wanna check if your bios can detect it. otherwise check cablings.
my bios detected it. but it still doesnt appeaer as d drive leh
What drives you are using? IDE or SATA?
If IDE for the second drive, check the jumper settings on the drive and make sure it's put to slave... Then check your cabling for the IDE cable and power cable are secured properly...
Open your casing and check if the drive got power or not. Also check if
BIOS could detect it. While system on, ground yourself first and touch the HD body and feel if any spinning movement happen. Get your HD model, go to website and download the boot software. Run on DOS and see if software can detect HD and run test. If not, finish.
thanks i got it done. but i use the partition(sp?) method
to partition, u have to use the Disk Management in Computer management. or any third party partition prog
