My sis spoil the comp again , need help pls

I dont know what my sis do to the comp , but what i believe is she did not shut down properly
When the window startup in MS dos , at the bottom i got extra optionBio Setup XpressRecovery2 Boot Menu
F9 was not in the menu previously , apprear after something happen to the pc
ok i didnt press it , it continue to load and come to a screen that write this :
We apologise for the incovenience , but windows did not start sucessfully. A recent hardware or software change mught have cause this
If you computer stop responding , restart unexpectedly , or was automatically shut down to protect your file and folders , choose Last Known Good Configeration to revert most recent setting that worked.
If previous startup attempt was interrupted due to power failure or because the power or reset button was pressed , or if you aren't sure what caused the problem , choose start window normally

Last Known Configeration (your most recent setting that works)
Start window normally <--- this is highlighter in white box
Use the up or down arrow key to moved highlight to your choice
Second until window starts : 20
In this window , by right can press up down to choose the mode , but when press got no reaction leh , the highlight box wont move. Then went contdown time end , it will restart and continue another cycle until i off the comp
Ok on the option the 3 buttoncan be press and go in the setup , foroption was fine , up down left right was responding , for when enter , up down button all no reaction again , for option , it tell me to Install Xpress Recovery2 from GIGABYTE CD Title,Press any key to continue
There 1 disc i believe that it the GIGABYTE CD , i insert , no reaction , press enter oso no reaction , the only way to end it is to off main switch
Anyone can help ?????? My sis now abandon the PC and keep buggin to use my laptop -

I dunno what happen but my sis i think she off the power before shut down process ends... -

Boot disk ar , i have it in diskette form , but my comp no diskette drive
and the up down cannot press thing was fixed , went into bio and notice that my keyboard support and mouse support was off , i turn on liao and now can press up down , but same at the :

when i choose any , press enter , it works , but automatically restart again
and now express recovery2 cd from GIGABYTE works , and now on the process of recovering data , 2nd attemp le , 1st attemp got error and auto boot, now is less than 1/40 finish

Q1 , why was my keyboard and mouse support switch off ? is it cause by virus or something ?
Q2 , the problem i facing now is what problem ? How come lai dat wan ? -
2nd attemp to recover have failed , dunno why halfway then popup : backup image fail , then boot back to ms dos again.
Now what ? everything oso restart ?

Right now seems like cannot get any detail on what is the cause of the problem. But i suggest you back up your HDD.
Q1: your keyboard/mouse. are you using USB keyboard and mouse? some m/b i think cannot recognize while window is booting. try to use a PS2 port keyboard.
Q2: no details we also cannot help.
What you can try is make sure there are no loose connections. use a live CD to run see if all the hardware ok or not. For instance, Ubuntu live CD can just boot from the CD and you can do things like lspci to see if all your hardware is ok. For windows option, look for BartPE boot/recovery cd.
Actually just back up your data on the HDD and reinstall. That is least troublesome...

Insert your OS Disc > Go to Bio Setup > Select Boot from CD as your 1st option
Restart your computer > Your comp shld boot the CD , OS .
do a full recovery using the CD
Make sure you are not using any wireless mouse or keyboard if not you can't press the F1-F9 Key. -
Try Last Known Good Configuration first.
If nothing works, say bye bye to your data. -

you might want to take a trip to sim lim square to see whether you can salvage the data or not.........
you don't have a boot disk....
have you tried to see whether, you can boot from your D Drive........ -
try system restore in safe mode

I think there's one more option
Disable auto restart when system error?
Then wen you boot in windows, you will get a blue screen which will start the error.Copy wat the error said and post it here

If you want to recover your data, try using Knoppix. I'm not too sure if it works on NTFS drives, but FAT32 drives will work, because NTFS is a propriety format by MS.
