Just burn them... you convert also requires space...Originally posted by Xephone_xenon:Got tons of anime in my com now.
Most of them AVI of WMV. What format can save alot of space?
MKV? or got better one.
If got, what programmes to dl to change it.
I got 300+ worth avi and wmv file. =(Originally posted by allentyb:depends on the video codec, you want to convert to,
rm 9, it will be faster....... about 30 min
but i usually set the codec to rm10, which a typical anime ep, which will take me around 1 hour to finish
i have about 130gb worth of rm file, if those are avi file, even you give me a 500 gb file, i doubt it will be enough lor
so converting is a daily process bah
if you have over 100 gb worth avi file, i think you need at least 10 days to finish converting
Many factors affect compressionsOriginally posted by Xephone_xenon:I got 300+ worth avi and wmv file. =(
If convert will become how much?
Can link me the programme to dl and convert?
Fastest programme.
But how to convert exactly?Originally posted by abao:Many factors affect compressions
1. Processor Type and Speed
2. RAM
3. HDD Space/ Free HDD Space
4. Original Video/ Audio size
5. Output Video/ Audio size
6. Output Bitrate
7. Codec
8. Encoder complexity
This is a wild guess, but assuming u encode CQ and your processor is able to handle them in real time, it will take 300x24mins=7200mins or 120hours
Cannot dont have any format allentyb mention.Originally posted by MyPillowTalks:Super converter? i rmb the thread on freeware sticked at the top have super convertor..... its freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If i convert will the convertor create a new output?
It all depends on where u put the output file.
Or will it just convert and the file will stay put at the same folder?
