how come its not playing any sound?i watch any videos or empty recycle bin.totally no sound.
btw got this error keep poping out and makes a sharp BEEP sound

when i terminates it,theres still the sharp BEEP sound and same message appears again.when i click on cancel it closes but the problem is not solved yet.the next time i turn on the com the message will pop up again.help me please.thanks -
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control
Make sure that the Wave column slider is not right at the bottom or you will hear no sounds.
Double check that the Mute All box is not ticked.
Your svchost.exe error, can you tell us more about it?
svchost.exe handles a lot of Windows programs, and a lot of things can trigger this error.
Did this happen during Windows update? Right after you log in? Open any particular programs? Any other situations that triggered it? Is it random? -
always happening when i start windows.i followed what you told me to do.allpros then entertainment and stuff.but when i click on volume control,the following message pops up

last time used to have the volume control on the bottom right lane side of the screen.but i dont know what happened.it just disappeared.and anything i do.totally no sound.cant watch youtube.zzzz -
Must be an acer, occasionally cannot detect soundcard one.
The svc thingie has nothing to do with it. -

Hmm... looks like some program crashed with svchost...
Start > Control Panel > Automatic Updates
Select Turn Off Automatic Updates button
Click OK to apply the settings.
Restart PC and see if it happens again.
As for the sound issue, go to Acer's site and download the latest sound drivers for your laptop. Also, update Windows in case the drivers crashed (one of the updates did crash Acer sound drivers)
